Privacy policy

LAST UPDATED: 2025

This site exists to share the work of Elias Nightshade and to help readers find the books. We keep what we collect to a minimum. This page explains what is gathered when you visit, and why.

Information you give us

If you use the contact form, you provide your name, email address, and message. We use that information only to read and respond to what you sent. The form is delivered through a third-party form service, which processes the submission on our behalf.

Information collected automatically

We use Google Ads conversion tracking to understand whether visits lead to book purchases. When you select an “Order on Amazon” link, a conversion event is recorded through Google’s tag, which may set or read cookies and collect standard technical data such as your browser type, device, and general location. This helps measure advertising performance. It is not used to identify you personally.

Third-party services

A few outside services are used to run the site, and each handles data under its own privacy policy: Google (advertising and conversion measurement), the form provider that delivers contact messages, YouTube (the embedded book trailer, which loads only after you press play), and Amazon (where purchases are completed). We don’t control how these companies process information once you interact with them.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. The advertising and embedded-video services above may set them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though conversion measurement may not.

Your choices

You can browse without submitting any personal information. If you’ve sent a message and would like it deleted, contact us and we’ll remove it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your data; reach out and we’ll honor applicable requests.
